"We recently went for lunch on a nice Tuesday to enjoy this newly renovated waterfront resto. There was no longer a lunch special, which was disappointing. Given the weekday, and all of 4 other people on the terrace, I think the owners to rethink their strategy, given the competition in the village that offers dessert, and coffee as well.The traditional wiener schnitzel at $18.95 included a salad or soup, a huge piece of meat, fried potatoes and some red cabbage. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was not pan-fried, but dropped into the same frying basket as the commercial sliced potatoes. This rendered the meat very dry. No amount of lemon could save it. I was also disappointed that the potatoes were not the traditional German-style potato salad. Even the red cabbage was too sweet.It's a pity that this restaurant with a lovely interior dining-room, and a gorgeous terrace, should need a more experienced cook. The menu is too expensive for lunch for the area, when compared to the other restos on the strip.The waitress was very pleasant."

"This cute little place is to me the very best fondue restaurant in town. They have everything you can think about fondues wise. The sevice was very good and the food .... that was something very interesting as we could taste things we have never...had anywhere. Prices are not too high but it is not a cheap place to eat at. But you will remember your passing there. Either it be for a desert fondue or a full meal try it out it is worth giving it a shot."
