"As we were staying in the hotel that houses the restaurant, we paid for half board and had breakfast and dinner there. Breakfast was simple with scrambled eggs on the menu every day. There were cereal, croissants, ham etc. Dinner style was fine dining, a four course menu. We had veal, chicken, fish for mains on 3 different days. Overall standard of food is okay but not great."

"This is a review for the restaurant of this hotel. Knowing the chef is Japanese, I ordered the udon bowl. Hands down the worst I’ve had in my life and I travel to Japan often. To add insult to injury, expensive. I didn’t give one star due to location of the restaurant."

"We fancied something quick and relaxed dining and found this little place. Piping hot food, good selection of drinks and big portions. Don’t understand other reviews that say the staff are rude. The man serving us was very friendly and gave good service. Would recommend if you fancy some good fast food and don’t want to pay restaurant prices for a night."

"We stopped by to have a lunch before we caught the next bus from the Falls back to Lauterbrunnen. It was not busy at all and we went in and got our food cafeteria style. The food was tasty as we had ordered a couple sandwiches, deserts and drinks; the deserts were very delicious. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed the wonderful views of the falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. The service inside was average nothing exceptional nor bad and the prices were what you would expect to pay in Switzerland. If you are not hungry, the restaurant is well worth a stop for a desert or a cup of coffee while taking in the dramatic views from around the restaurant. The location is great as it is next to the bus stop and at the head of the trail leading up to the falls."

"We visited this restaurant for takeout as my parents were craving Indian food. We ordered a lamb Rohan josh, chicken saag and 4 naans - 2 plain and 2 garlic. I was shocked that a restaurant would sell the 'Deep' brand frozen naan as their own. They had literally microwaved these naans and sold them to us. If you are the owner of this establishment and reading this, you should be ashamed of yourself for selling 4 frozen naans for 23 Frs. Stop selling them altogether or make them fresh!"

"We stopped in here for lunch on one of our days in the area and thoroughly enjoyed the casual experience of having a pizza and a glass of wine."

"We had 1st class service and want to thank Claude the manager especially for looking after us so well. We had a beautiful room overlooking the waterfall. We arrived early in the season and the restaurant wasn't open. The room was quiet, clean and next...to the lift. My only beef is that they did not cater for gluten-free diet."

"C'est bien connu, dans les montagnes suisses, on mange tôt. Arrivé "tard" à Mürren, c'est à dire vers 21h00, avec une faim de loup, j'ai été ravi de me sustenter vers 21h30 à l'Eiger Guesthouse Restaurant. Endroit vivant, les hôtes de l'hôtel vont et viennent, certains s'attablent pour un verre, d'autres pour un menu, le personnel est convivial, sympathique, et efficace. L'atmosphère est conviviale, et les plats goûtus (pizzas de bonne facture, pâtes au lard savoureuses, viande citronnée généreuse). Mais ce qui m'a épaté (et fait chavirer mon coeur) c'est la fantastique assiette de fromage d'une générosité et d'une subtilité inoubliable. Accompagnée de miel et de noix, j'en rêve encore la nuit. Avec un pain idéal. Tout est bon dans ce restaurant que je connais depuis des années, mais ne passez pas à côté des fromages. Et c'est un intolérant aux produits laitiers (industriels) qui vous parle. Leur vieille prune est également un délice. A faire au moins une fois lors de votre séjour dans ce village merveilleux."
