"Had an excellent salat plate during a weekday, while we wandered on the way from todtnau to feldberg through gisiboden. on Sunday morning, again raised to taste the brunch. the place was filled with locals and the buffet was extensive and excellent. I have not noticed that some of the reviews here are for the hasenhorn hatte, which is a completely different restaurant. Apparently, this place is a well-maintained secret of the natives who come here, in the drove. I would come back in a heartbeat. the service was also very good, both of which we dined there."
In pleasant weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area.

"Bravo et merci à toute l'équipe du restaurant Hirschen pour ce délicieux moment. Situé à l'extrémité de Todtnau, cet établissement vaut le déplacement. En effet le cadre est chaleureux, propre et engageant. Les serveuses sont en tenues traditionnelles allemandes, c'est un vrai plus! La carte est assez variée avec de nombreuses spécialités notamment autour de la truite. Les principaux ingrédients des plats proviennent de la région! Dans l'assiette c'est un délice. Tarifs maîtrisés pour cette qualité. Nous reviendrons."

"Ausser uns waren nur noch zwei andere Tische besetzt, was den Abend im Gasthof sehr gemächlich und ruhig gestaltete, ganz unser Geschmack. Die Bedienung war überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich hatte eine halbe Portion Fleischküchle mit Kartoffelknödel, mein Freund hat sich für das Tagesmenü, Schweinegeschnetzeltes mit Bärlauchsauce und Spätzle. Beides sehr lecker! Auch der Apfelstrudel war nicht übermässig süss und der Teig schön dünn, kein Blätterteigklumpen wie man es aus anderen Restaurants kennt. Einzig das gereichte Brot schmeckte nicht sonderlich gut, als wäre es vor zwei Tagen gebacken worden. Wir können dieses Gasthaus nur weiterempfehlen."

Das Ambiente hat auch (mit teilweise Blick auf die Kirche Todtnau's) gerade bei warmen Temperaturen auf der Außenterasse sehr überzeugt. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und somit hat diese Pizzeria/Ristorante jeden weiteren Besuch verdient !"
