"Bento with Veggies and gyoza/tempura pages. Gyoza dripping fat from the frit. Oil tasted a little.? No brown rice. White only rice undercooked.. Veggies consisted of 2 pieces of broccoli and some mushrooms and 3 tablespoons of cabbage. I felt deceived from this bad quality food and portion size. Next time, instead, a real Japanese restaurant will follow. I'll never apply this business again."

"Ken is owner and chef and is very friendly and accommodating. They are knowledge on food allergies and will alter any menu items that can be altered. The spring rolls are so addictive, and their chicken is by far the most tender I've even had."

"This was such a pleasant experience - the food was fresh and excellent, and the service was top notch. We were even greeted with a complementary sushi pizza taster which was pretty amazing. With just a short walk from my work, I will be here often!"

"I've had better Japanese food in Victoria. The prawn tempura had little flavour. I've had better at the food fair in a mall. The steak sauce is a different version than what is served in most Japanese restaurants in town. I was warned that instead of being salty, it was sweet. Well, one taste and I spit it out. There is an extra charge for the steak sauce. The pork Katsu with Katsu sauce was okay and so was the salad. The mauve rice tastes like steamed rice so that was fine. There was fried veggies under the pork. In my opinion, they weren't necessary. My final bill came to $29 and change. This might be a reasonable price. My husband as I usually order several appetizers and pork Katsu at the usual Japanese restaurant we go to. The bill comes to the same amount but has fed two people. Having said all that, the restaurant was full at 7 in the evening. It might be because it is one of two Japanese restaurants in this area of town or I'm way off base in my food opinions. The service was quick and excellent. The ambience is lovely. Plenty of free parking too."
