"Popped in for a light bite after an event at the South of England Event Centre across the road and we both ended up having the Sunday roast. Delicious and generous, great to have the option of extra Yorkshire puddings and gravy. Good quality, reasonably priced, friendly staff."

"Decided to do a circular walk from Ardingly (no 2 in the Walks from West Sussex pubs) and discovered that the Oak Inn, listed there, has closed down. Chose the Ardingly Inn instead and was surprised to be able to book a table for 8 so easily on a Sunday lunch time. Was there something wrong? Absolutely not. A short but ideal menu, great food for children and adults, friendly service and an all round lovely lunch and good value too. The landlord told me that it seems people pass the pub by as it’s slightly set back from the main Lindfield Turners Hill Road. You’re missing out. We’ll be going back."

"Been here twice now and both times had a fantastic evening. Great food and everyone who works there are so friendly and helpful. Gave me a cake for me and my friends for my birthday, red roses for all of us, oranges and chocolates just makes the evening special. Definitely recommend to anyone for a good night out"
