"Stopped for lunch and ordered tea and sandwiches. Sandwiches came toasted rather than the brown bread as ordered but were very nice. Made a thing about teapigs tea but I have to say not my favourite. All very pleasant. The ability to take credit cards...would be helpful. A nice place."

"Decided to do a circular walk from Ardingly (no 2 in the Walks from West Sussex pubs) and discovered that the Oak Inn, listed there, has closed down. Chose the Ardingly Inn instead and was surprised to be able to book a table for 8 so easily on a Sunday lunch time. Was there something wrong? Absolutely not. A short but ideal menu, great food for children and adults, friendly service and an all round lovely lunch and good value too. The landlord told me that it seems people pass the pub by as it’s slightly set back from the main Lindfield Turners Hill Road. You’re missing out. We’ll be going back."

"Hey, I just wanted to say that on Saturday I was dimming in the wakehurst café and having an amazing experience thanks to one of their waiters. he was very chatting and brightened my day with his smile! I asked about his name, he said it was an asac, will definitely come back. eating was also amazing!"

"So I actually went to the ardingly caffe and here I was served the beautiful, tasty dish, avacardo smash with rührei, instead of a poached egg as I don't like it especially. this was no problem again, since I had actually substituted with a fried egg before the fried eggs! I and my partner were actually late, since cooked service had set to 2.15, we had arrived at 2.30, were nevertheless warmly welcomed and quickly served the beautiful dish! my partner had the same, no drama on her part to serve with the eggs with her!"
