"We arrived in South Brent last week and had a lovely time looking around the village. On the way back to the free car park bought two slices of the Chicken Ham pie and a Pork Pie. The two slices we had for our evening meal hotted up and each slice was crammed and tasted lovely. Pastry was superb. Served by a very courteous man and the shop was packed with lovely edible goods. Well worth going to."

"Fantastic! Happened across this little gem on Easter Sunday. The landlord and waitress were extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered the Sunday lunch, which was really tasty and generous in size. They even went out of their way to specially prepare a vegan dessert for my wife, as we booked our table a few hours in advance. Fantastic little place with lots of old charm which also has a cosy open fireplace. Food drinks: Brilliant! Service: 5"
