"We booked last minute. the staff are all very friendly and have welcomed us from the minute we leave our bikes in the garden. eat very nice, we had lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday morning was very nice. our room was clean and comfortable and the live band was a bonus, Saturday night. I'm sure they'll stay back."

"We have a "tradition' to have our jubilee in the afternoon, but this has become more difficult in recent years as my man has discovered that he is lactose intolerant and we have already been vegetarian, so we are now quite much vegan. we couldn't blame. this vegan afternoon tea. original (also a little quirky! , beautifully made and absolutely delicious. made even mor special with a bottle 'dorsecco' or kieved cider. friendly and attentive staff and a beautiful atmosphere. we couldn't eat anything so that everything was in the generous spread so that everything was left for us to take home. we will definitely be back and recommend to look for this place."

"Great place for a stop, very welcoming friendly owner. I stopped for coffee/cake whilst on a motorcycle trip, parked right outside. The welcome, and food/drink quality, couldn't have been better. Nice locals inside to chat to as well. Try the Dorset apple cake, from an old local recipe, fantastic."
