"This place is very popular and very busy on Saturday night. had large mixed schish with salate and chili sauce. the pittabred was placed in the lid of the container. Now, figured out how this can be soggy during the incorporation with fillings. hot, fresh, chic and plentiful. we're going back. great kebab house!"

"Very good supermarket take kebab service. a lot of choice about and about the usual doner kebab. the shish, cooked and service are very good. clean and very organized. eating is cooked to order, so it can take 10-15 minutes. price reasonable. only have the collection done, so can not comment on delivery. rice, salad and chili sauce are all well-supporting items."

"N.B NO LONGER CALLED 'GOKS KITCHEN '. It is now called Café Wood and is Thai food, NOT Turkish food. The website is of the PREVIOUS OWNERS and does not work. So it you book on the website they don 't honour your booking. You have to call to book. We found out the hard way when we arrived for brunch with 6 people and found we didn 't have a booking. They didn 't seem to appreciate we booked online and said it was 'the previous owners ' so we had to sit outside. Nevertheless, the food was lovely, staff very friendly (although obviously quite new) and they offered us a table inside when it became available, but we had already settled. Definitely worth trying, lovely brunch but it 's NOT Gok 's Kitchen or Turkish food, which is a shame as that too was a lovely place. "What a bad service and attitude! I ordered two kebabs and was told that it would take 10mins, I could see that they were busy as they had 6 people working behind the counter. No problem as I had to get cash from the cash machine across the road. Which you would have thought that in this day and age they should be accepting card payments! I returned 10mins later and food was not ready so I sat down and waited and waited. After 5mins I asked one of the guys, which there was only 3 behind the counter now, where is my food. He looked at the ticket list confused and I pointed out my order. He then said Oh it’s nearly ready! I waited another 10mins and finally got my food. When paying I said to the guy, I thought you said 10mins, he abruptly and rudely replied, “well we are short staff can’t you see!” What? He had 6 staff working at one point, he must have thought I just walked in and not see them all there!! I will not return because of this and will try the other kebab places in Ashford as there are lots of them and a new one next to the coop."
