"This place is really falling off. I ordered dumplings and it had some hard pieces of bone or teeth in it and also had hair like they rolled it around on the floor. I'm sick to my stomach!! I'm gonna call the health department on these people. For the money you spend here it should be impeccably clean!! The 2 women.that work there are also very nasty with bad attitudes!! I won't be eating here anymore!!"

"Meh. The place is extremely simple, small and hole in the wall-ish. The many high reviews must be for another establishment because I don't understand this place warranting them. It doesn't scream cleanliness, nor is the menu inventive. Their dumplings are doughy... Fried rice usually oily. In a pinch it's OK but not the place I like to frequent regularly."

"I was on a literal trip down memory lane (my sis and I used to live in town 20 yrs ago) when, passing by this joint, I had the sudden remembrance of an awesome shrimp dish which I could not remember the name of. I'm sad to hear of all the bad interactions people have had with the owner because she was so nice to me as I explained trying to remember what I had ordered so many years ago. She patiently asked me to describe the dish, offered to sub in vegetables that I liked, and made recommendations. Ended up going with the shrimp with garlic sauce. Alas it was not the one I was thinking of but the dish was still quite tasty, with good-sized shrimp and a sauce that seemed to have been prepared with more care and quality than your average Chinese food place. It was just a tad too sweet for my taste (I have a low tolerance for sweet foods) but still was very satisfied. The woman even came by to ask if it was the right dish and whether I liked it or not. In the end I thought it was well-priced, tasty food with an interaction I rarely have anymore at any restaurant these days (someone actually interested in helping you make a good choice), let alone a random Chinese food place."

"I love Sushi Mike's. They have some of the freshest sushi around, some outstanding special rolls (I love the Salmon fever , and delicious shrimp shumai (spell check? They can be a little on the expensive side, but I do think you get what you pay for. I would love to see them expand, perhaps, adding a few more specialty rolls to the menu!"
