"The food here is unbelievably ordinary. The chicken satay was served as raw cabbage, cooked chicken slices, a few shavings of raw carrot and the most disgusting microwaved bowl of tasteless satay sauce placed on top. You could still see the indentations of the bowl in the sludge of satay. The red duck curry had very little duck just skin and fat but had a little flavour. The Pork ginger was very mild with raw ginger very finely sliced thrown on top. The crying tiger so called rare beef sliced was stewed steak thickly sliced with a bowl of fish sauce on the side. It was interesting to see that most of the patrons were European not a Thai in sight. Also the place seems to be owned/run by a European male. Steer clear of this place if you are expecting decent Thai food."

"Most Thai restaurants in Canberra have been localized in taste. They are not authentic to Thai people. However, this place is one of the best places in ACT and NSW, and probably the best in Canberra. As a Thai, I can guarantee the food here is authentic Thai. As for Pad Thai, this one is the second best I have had so far in my life. The best I had was in the northeastern Thailand. There are some Thai food I hate, i.e., Jungle curry, but every Thai food I hate are so delicious when I have it here. You will regret if you miss this."

"Just had lunch here, we ate from the sushi train. Dishes are continually being made to 're stock the sushi train. Dishes are priced by the colour of the plate so you can keep a track of your spendings. If you like a particular dish they can also prepare it for you if it isn't on the train."
In beautiful weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, And into the accessible rooms also come visitors with wheelchairs or physical disabilities.

"Super slow service. I understand covid times and restrictions on numbers allowed ect but even once in there we waited way too long. Not as friendly as the previous staff, bit of a let down."

"Ace Sushi is located in the Belconnen Fresh Food Market Complex and like the markets, is only open Wednesday-Sunday (opening hours according to the website are 1000-2000). Although, I wouldn't suggest that this is my favourite Japanese restaurant in Canberra, it's still a nice little sushi-train-style eatery if you're feeling a bit peckish whilst shopping. It's a small space and as such, variety is a touch more limited as that of other Japanese restaurants in the district. Other than the freshly made sushi, the best thing about Ace Sushi is the value. When my husband and I visited, every plate was $3.00 - regardless of the item, which is exceptional value given that similar restaurants start at $3.50 (up to anywhere in the $8.00 range). This is a small space, so seating is limited, but like other establishments of this nature you can choose to take away. As I am yet to eat at any of the other restaurants and cafes in the Belconnen Fresh Food Market complex, I can't comment as to whether this is a good restaurant in comparison; however, as a stand alone review, Ace Sushi was excellent value for a good product."
