"We visited Gipfo Hit on two occasions on our recent ski trip, one for coffee and beer and the second for lunch. The staff on both occasions were really friendly, smiley and very helpful, and all spoke English, although we did attempt to order in German, I suspect unsuccessfully as the staff's responses were in English!! We had the liver dumpling in a beef broth. I had taken a fancy to the dumplings in beef broth and aimed to sample a different flavored one each day. At Gipfo Hit it was the turn of the liver dumpling ... yum yum. It was almost like a mild haggis in a dumpling, I know that all sounds odd to the British palate and our take on a dumpling but oh my goodness it really works very well indeed, specially after a full morning skiing and sitting outdoors on the top of a snowy white mountain, perusing the stunning panoramic jagged mountain range views bathed in glorious sunshine! There is tons of outdoor seating, and the views are truly spectacular as long as its clear!"
