Great place to stop for light lunch with home made soups, casseroles, sandwiches and baked goods. Young staff are energetic and usually pleasant.

The menu of the establishment is also suitable for vegetarians, as there are meals that entirely abstain from meat.

A delicious warm soup simply feels good - it's a blessing that the menu here offers so much for its customers, and you can enjoy delicious steaks that are freshly cooked in various ways. Without question variations of delicate chicken dishes are a staple of the meal, Besides, there are also tasty marinated Chicken-Wings listed on the menu - definitely a recommendation.

"Smart gem of a bistro. TheBistro is a small sophisticated eatery that can remind one of Paris. It may be small but it is large in flavourful food prepared with casual elegant expertise. The chef/owner Tony Szeles( he is of Hungarian back ground is an old school trained chef with impeccable credentials. His food is simple , clean, direct, no muddying of too many ingredients that plague so many so called Hip west coast bistros Mr. Szeles' deft touch takes a simple ingredient like a potato and transforms it in to a hungarian rhapsody as a silky cream of poato, leek and dill soup. "Don’t let the appearance of the exterior deter you. Service is friendly and efficient. Some of the best fish and chips around, but that’s not all. Appears to be well visited by locals. Quaint decor with local artists work displayed on the walls. Reasonable prices...and generous servings. Very accommodating for various dietary requests. Would not hesitate to recommend."

"Okay, nothing special. This is the only Japanese restaurant in town, and the only place aside from Quality Foods to get sushi. The restaurant is in a lodge next to a cemetary The food really isn't that good. But when you don't have much for competition, what do you expect The last time I went, the waitress brought us an octopus salad on the house. I would have been thankful it it wasn't for the very obvious fishy smell of the dish. Was it fresh? Probably not. We didn't eat it. Our actual order was decent, but nothing to rave about."
