"We were advised to visit this restaurant on a recent holiday to the Dordogne and although it was a bit off the beaten track, it was best night of the holiday and will be remembered by us for a very long time. They had donkey's in the field for the baby to pet, a rabbit and some rescued greyhound dogs so the baby with us was entertained. The food was second to none and the owner's hospitality unriveled. We stayed outside under a canopy until the meal was over and were then invited into the room to hear the owner play blues on the keyboard and harmonica. He was an exceptionally good muscian and an even better chef! His wife was a delight and as our French was not so good, he spoke to us in perfectly good English. If you are nearby then you should make this a place to visit and eat.Oh and it was so reasonable too."

"Excellent family dinner. Thank you to the mistress and the cook. Welcome to extreme kindness, discreet and very professional. delicious dishes, homemade and well-presented (saint jacques sauce crayfish, salmon and veal ris: excellent,) the very well-prepared raie as well as the magrets, that say desserts: floating island with raspberry and dessert with pineapple: to fall. Even the bread is homemade! The frame is friendly. we will come back a noon to better appreciate it and especially to taste the rest of the card in summary, I recommend this restaurant."
