"I recommend to everyone to think twice about going here. the owner met us at the arrival and was extremely rude. we spoke French, but it was clear at the arrival that he did not want to leave in his restaurant. I would say that this was a part of the worst service we have ever received. no one else in the restaurant is inconspicuous and we are over later and still empty."

"Tres bonne cuisine tres bon acceuil. Restaurant très joli moderne avec une vue a couper le souffle !! Le seul point negatif qui n a rien avoir avec l établissement lui meme : la clientèle allemande !! ( peut on toutefois parler de clients lorque l on consomme un coca pour dix voir rien du tout?) En effet des aller retour insecants aux toilettes provocant un vacarme insupportable. Nous etions 6 sur une table de 8, 5 d entre eux se sont installer autour de nous sans complexes sans respect et surtout sans consommations !! Ils ont pousse le vice a sortir leur pic nic alors qu il est indique que celui ci n est pas autorisé !! Quel soulagement lorsque le personnel est intervenus pour leur demander de liberer notre table !!! Il a fallu tout de meme 5 interventions pour qu ils degagent !! Leur comportement est inadmissible !!! A la hauteur de leur impolitesse !! Nous reviendrons tout de meme car le personnel fait de son mieux pour proteger sa clientèle la nourriture est bonne et tjs bien acceuilli"

"We arrived with 2 young children at 8 p.m., after a very long journey, to the welcoming village that the family has been visiting for 40 years Chandolin. We went to the Chalet, a restaurant that we visited in a very large group last summer, where the experience was very pleasant, both in terms of service and meals. This time, we had to wait a long time standing before someone was polite enough to welcome us. We ended up being welcomed and asked for a table for 4. The immediate response was that without a reservation it was impossible, everything was full. Before our eyes was erected a superb and enormous counter, empty. When we ask if we can sit at the counter, the waiter tells us that they don't serve food at the counter. Following this, we ask if we can take something to take away, since after such a long trip and with the children, we just wanted to eat something. The waiter dared to tell us that “there wouldn’t be any left for the others” if he served us food! Such a far fetched excuse is an attack on a client’s intellectual integrity. Selling us 3 meals would have put the restaurant out of stock?!? Demeaning ourselves even more, with supplication, we insist if we can take anything. The waiter asks us to wait since he has to check in the kitchen if the chef agrees to make us 3 pizzas to take away (they normally practice this business method). He came back, sorry that he couldn't sell us these pizzas because there were a lot of pizza orders. We didn’t actually have a reservation, but we were also so visibly vulnerable and “open to anything” that, even if we had had to wait half an hour to get pizzas to go, we would have done it. It’s deplorable to be welcomed like this. Especially in the low season the attitude was completely different. Soul and hospitality, especially in the catering sector, are the ingredients of success. Clearly the establishment completely lacks a sense of service."
