"A mixup with a hotel reservation website meant that we weren't anticipated and, indeed, the hotel was on a quiet day. Good news, we were accommodated, the room was quite big and clean. Bad news, the atmosphere was pretty uncomfortable for the first 15 mins whilst they worked out what to do (Ie. presumably they were seeing if they could get out of the booking). Once there, the restaurant was shut so, all in all, not a great stay. And, frankly, by Swiss standards it was poor. In the main season, if you give them plenty of notice, things might be better."

"While in Visp for work our host arranged a group dinner here. Good choice. The food was traditional Swiss as best I understand it with generous meat courses and various fondue specialties. The group shared a number of bottles of local wine which was excellent as well. We had excellent service. I would go back if we are ever back this way."

"We had dinner with family here in March 2020. What an amazing restaurant, delicious food, quick service, friendly staff. There is parking outside as well."

"I recently ate lunch here on our way back from Zermatt. We stumbled upon the place after noticing they had a 3 course menu for only 17CHF! The first course was salad, main was macaroni and dessert was ice cream- very good value for Switzerland. Another member of the party had the chicken, which was enormous and delicious. The staff were very friendly and spoke English and German. Will definitely go back there again!!"

"We were there on Easter Monday, four of us. All four at the table were very impressed by the quality of the food, with one exception, the pork steak was beyond the pink point d. H. got a bit dry. Apart from that we were very satisfied with the offered up to and including dessert and wines. Keep it up, we'd love to come back."
