A mixup with a hotel reservation website meant that we weren't anticipated and, indeed, the hotel was on a quiet day. Good news, we were accommodated, the room was quite big and clean. Bad news, the atmosphere was pretty uncomfortable for the first 15 mins whilst they worked out what to do (Ie. presumably they were seeing if they could get out of the booking).
