"We had lunch at Plattens whilst in Wells next the sea. All the staff were pleasant and polite. The food was very good, we both had Fish and Chips. The fish was cooked fresh and was lovely and chunky. It took a normal amount of time from ordering to receiving our food. All in all a very good experience."

"Used Edinburgh Inn several times on a break in Wells and enjoyed each visit. Staff friendly and efficient and there was a nice atmosphere with a mix of locals and visitors like ourselves. Not quite so impressed with the attached restaurant (Ollie’s) but did like the pub. Food drinks: Drinks fine and at a reasonable price but food in restaurant rather ordinary and overpriced in my opinion. Service: 5 Location: 5"
