"I am responsible for planning a retreat for my office at Cascadia College, and we have voted to make a cooking class for our team component of the full-day retreat. Kris made it very easy to book a class based on what we wanted to cook, and how many people we had what was 14. Since it is a small café, it was closed to the public, only for us our private cooking class, which was beautiful. We got 100% the attention of Kris when it comes to rolling and folding our Chinese and Korean dumplings. Then, he and his wife cooked all the dumplings, steamed and fried, and we have to eat over 80 dumplings that we created ourselves! Kris was very patient with those of us who had never made dumplings (like myself) and let me do so many, do it along me so that I understand. I finally got the slope of one of the harder wrinkles, and I felt very filled! I would highly recommend the Hodge Podge Cafe (A Global Kitchen) for small office retreats, or small parties and celebrations. It is a great place to learn how to cook a variety of kitchens, and soon I have to go back to try the food at the café!"

"Eating here for the first time as I write this. The food is amazing. This is the first Mexican style restaurant I've been to that uses actual beef, diced up and not ground. Definitely makes the texture and taste more enjoyably. For a small restaurant, the food in amazing, friendly staff, and all-around great atmosphere. I'm definitely coming back."
