"We needed to be in Danville for a late night event so went on Urban Spoon and the reviews on Peasant the Pear made us decide to try it. We really.enjoyed our dinner, the atmosphere is very pleasant....elegant enough, casual enough, everyone having a good time. The service was wonderful and the food very yummy.....my husband 's comment on his filet mignon steak dish was outstanding and of course, we tried the pear tart....supper excellent...the crust really flaky and fruit/ice cream combination wonderful. So many dishes we wanted to try that we 'll certainly be back here when in the area."

"This is a hard review to write because I wanted to be here for some time. The reviews seem to really pump this place, so it was definitely on my list, despite wary of major shopping centers ' restaurants. Sat outside: sitting so close to a crossing in the parking lot of a busy safeway was anything but pleasant. It finally died when it grew dark, but there were yellow jackets or hornets that swayed over the tables and foods that really added to the distracting outdoor environment. Staff: definitely works hard, the servers and buses were feverish in and out and between tables with little downtime. The food: the Calamari was underfooted, the concave potato skins were hardly full of toppings except the glob of the acid cream on everyone. As famous chefs have said, food must not only taste good, but it must also look good. The steak salad was good: fresh products and appeal, although the meat was hard to cut, as it did not cut against the grain when it served on the salad. The Italian sausage pizza was ok, but not tasty enough to eat more than one piece or two (and of what I see today, it is not very appetite if you store it) The cocktail menu is simply ok, though, they pour hard, so order what you normally drink vs some imagination from this menu. We tried the Greyhound and a Martini. Greyhound was meh, but the Martini was good. I think I can try this place again, but for a lunch menu: It is probably not the best dinner option if Danville's restaurant row is just a few miles away. I read another reviewer's comments from this place and it uses the word reasonable that I think is appropriate, therefore the three-star evaluation."

"The staff was slow 5min after I said hello to take my order and forget customer service techniques. I don't know where you're going to go or dinate orders. Bought 3 muffin, a scone, orange juice and a breakfast burger. The Blueberry muffin I had was stale and the guy at the counter didn't ask what size my juice was wasted about my morning. Burger was just a reason for two?"

"This is a sleek, new, modern Starbucks with such good ammenities. The restrooms are routinely cleaned and in good condition with electronic sinks and driers, there is a good amount of seating and is a great place to do work. The best part which I haven't seen anywhere else are free samples, a waiter may come around the establishment with a tray and hand out samples free of cost. This is the go-to Starbucks in Danville."
