"This is a hard review to write because I wanted to be here for some time. The reviews seem to really pump this place, so it was definitely on my list, despite wary of major shopping centers ' restaurants. Sat outside: sitting so close to a crossing in the parking lot of a busy safeway was anything but pleasant. It finally died when it grew dark, but there were yellow jackets or hornets that swayed over the tables and foods that really added to the distracting outdoor environment. Staff: definitely works hard, the servers and buses were feverish in and out and between tables with little downtime. The food: the Calamari was underfooted, the concave potato skins were hardly full of toppings except the glob of the acid cream on everyone. As famous chefs have said, food must not only taste good, but it must also look good. The steak salad was good: fresh products and appeal, although the meat was hard to cut, as it did not cut against the grain when it served on the salad. The Italian sausage pizza was ok, but not tasty enough to eat more than one piece or two (and of what I see today, it is not very appetite if you store it) The cocktail menu is simply ok, though, they pour hard, so order what you normally drink vs some imagination from this menu. We tried the Greyhound and a Martini. Greyhound was meh, but the Martini was good. I think I can try this place again, but for a lunch menu: It is probably not the best dinner option if Danville's restaurant row is just a few miles away. I read another reviewer's comments from this place and it uses the word reasonable that I think is appropriate, therefore the three-star evaluation."

"I remember there being a chain of Extreme Pizza's but this place is nothing like I had experienced before. You order just one pizza slice and it's as big as your head. It's so awesome. And the crust is so crispy and the cheese so damn cheesy. And the red sauce...divine. Also the chicken wings are extra crispy, paired up with some nice ranch dressing . Mendy stayed open for us a little later. And she made everything super quick, and she was clam, clever, witty, and had a pinch of sassy sarcasm, which I loved. She had us laughing hella hard. Also they have a great selection of beers. Like I could have very well been at a tap room. They had like 20 beers and ciders to choose from. And you have the option to get a 16oz or 20oz, I haven't seen this before! So of course I got the 20oz. My hands looked so small carting my biga pizza and my giant beer. If you have the appetite and thirst of a giant, Extreme Pizza in Alamo is your place!"

"Loved it! Pleasant outdoor patio. We ordered the deep dish mushroom and cheese pizza. The dry cornmeal crust contrasted wonderfully with the richer filling. Decent beer selection tho a few were out on the day we visited. Also split a salad which was good tho not as standout as the pizza."

"Delicious Filet Mignon with potatoes and Chicken Cordon Bleu. We had a shrimp appetizer that was pretty good. But unfortunately no picture. We also had a few drinks and some delicious tiramisus with a bit of coffee after dinner. Outdoor seating with wind cover and some overhead heating. Was also very pleasant on a windy night! Great waiting staff that was very attentive and wonderful!"
