"Tastiest fish we've had on the east coast so far! We also tried oysters and clams and they were delish! The atmosphere was great- the view was amazing. Staff was great too! Cheers from Ottawa!"

"Each year we plan the day around a trip to Kensington to do the Haunted House but the best part of that day is lunch at the Frosty Treat! The staff are happy friendly and the food is well worth the wait! The pieces of fish appear to be full fillets it is enough for two people or two meals! The batter on the fish and the clams was light and flavourful cooked just right! The fries are also just exactly the right crispiness tasty enough without ketchup or gravy but the gravy was also home made quality delicious!! You won’t be sorry you chose this spot!"

"We were looking for a place where Celiac daughter could eat with no issues on her birthday. Some GF places are just paying lip service to those hipsters who are GF Light Trendy. Not here. They knew what they were doing Waiter Graheme was helpful , knowledgable and flexible. Started right away when I requested change from Cat's Table to nicer one. Ended up at Barrett's Table which even had some history. Appetizers and drinks were wonderful. Main courses grand. One of our party didn't like her linguini. Personal preference , nothing wrong with it. I would highly recommend the fish and chips and the haddock with risotto. Didn't try desserts cause we were stuffed.Decor lovely. Washrooms clean and new. Didn't try patio this visit....maybe next. We will be back to this gem of a restaurant. A nice change from Cavendish Kitsch"

"Where do I start…the staff, sooo friendly and helpful. Service was top notch. Located in what I believe is the old rail station in Kensington, super chill little spot to sit and have a few drinks and some delicious grub. Their burgers…my word…they don’t come much tastier than theirs. We ordered the triple classic station burger and the smokehouse burger. They were some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Fries were amazing and while plentiful, not overdone. The gravy on their poutine is a beef gravy and it’s so dang good. They use local cheese curds as well. Their soup of the day, I can’t remember what it was, but it was freaking amazing. Haha And the fish…oh the fish…biggest piece of haddock I’ve gotten anywhere yet! They make a cranberry Moscow mule that is to die for, I could sit and drink that all dang day!! Highly highly recommend a visit there!!!"

"We went at the beginning of the season so maybe we were too early to get the good stuff. Mussels done in white wine were completely tasteless and a pretty mediocre burger. Told the server but she didn't care. Wouldn't return."
