"Stopped in here for a few rolls and some Sashimi. The prices were excellent and the sizes good (not huge which was nice.) The fish was flavourful and the rice soft. There was no sloppy sauces or mayo drizzle on any of the rolls which made me very happy. Yami sushi let the fish and rice speak for itself! I would come back here in a heart beat! Try the house roll and their Toro Sashimi. This is by far one of the best sushi restaurants I've been to on the west coast.....and I've tried quite a few. Check this place out and you will not be disappointed."

"The staff were really good but I was disappointed that there wasn't much choice for the lunch buffet. Other all you can eat Thai and Chinese restaurants have a much bigger selection. There was wonton soup for starters and only 8 dishes for mains, as well as plain rice. The food was average, the chicken was a bit chewy, not like in other Thai curries I've had, the green curry sauce was nice and spicy. The beef was a bit fatty. Dessert was fruit and/or tapioca pudding. I don't know what the meals from the main menu are like. Dad ate hardly anything, so didn't get our money's worth, so I wouldn't take him there again!"

"Such a cute little sushi place! Service is fabulous, sushi is fresh and very reasonable. It is more outside dining but they do have tents with heaters for the winter and rainy days."
