"The Bar of the Appendix became our seat on the first day of our stay in Château d'Oléron. The frame, the decor, the mojito, the staff, everything is perfect. And tonight we had dinner... I rarely ate so slowly that I wanted to last the pleasure. To recommend!!!"

"Fresh Huitres, langustines, moules etc cooked and prepared from the producer! Everything was delicious, fresh and at very good prices! We tried their No2 Huitres, the Huitres farci, their mouclade and their langustines flambéed with Cognac! Each plate was served with a glass of local wine and Poitou Charente big butter! Service from the owner was very good also!"

"We went there on Monday, September 7th... it was a nice surprise for a restaurant in a tourist area where often the lack of flavor is at the rendezvous. The knives were falling. Tuna Tartars. Ice, top. I recommend this restaurant. The efficient and very user-friendly service. Thanks again to the young waitress (to tattoo) for her goodness."

"We were a party of two family couples, and in a wet mid April with the season barely started , we had trouble finding a restaurant open. At 12.45 we found “Comme une Évidence” and inside it looked like a very simple cafe bar. The menu was very varied but we each chose just a plat de jour and a dessert. The plat was filet mignon (pork fillet) with a crispy crumb of pain d’epice, served with ratatouille, a light sauce and a potato and vegetable rösti. Absolutely delicious. As was the small chocolate, caramel and peanut tartelette beautifully presented, light and not too sweet. It was a remarkable meal, and I thanked the chef. It was really good value, served by patient and friendly waiting staff, and this little restaurant is well worth a search.Many thanks to all."

"Very good time! Very commercial boss! service to the top! pretty view! in a typical area with fishermen's huts. Very rich and refined meal with very high quality ratio. Big more, the kid's menu, which comes out of the classic chopped steak! The children can finally eat like the big ones! crustacean oysters. We'll be back!"
