"The cosy, convenient little gite at the port is not only very well placed for walking, cycling and sailing on the Canal de Garonne Lateral and within ‘falling out of bed’ distance of the excellent bar and restaurant next door. There is little or no disturbance for those staying in the gite, in fact the proximity of the busy, friendly port and eatery all add to the pleasure of the visit. The restaurant menu is fresh, varied and delicious. The fish and chips in blond bier batter are absolutely amazing and accompanied by hand cut, home produced chips. The owners and staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. This is excellent place to stop on this canal and within walking distance of Buzet sur Baise."
