"The wife and I wanted to go to Echo Canyon and spend some time at the pool. This is our 3rd time staying here. I have never eaten anything I did not like. The steaks are amazing and tender. The duck and halibut are for my first choice of food but now I find myself eating those first. This time we had the seafood and streak it was so good. I can't remember what it is called but the ravioli with fresh crab meat was awesome. The breakfast is like no other, the Banana pancakes are to die for. Very romantic dinner. I can't wait to go back."

"If you plan to eat here.... don 't. SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. Food quality is decent but not consistent. We 've given this place multiple chances to change our opinion but each time it only makes us more aggravated. The scenery is beautiful and we love the idea of the restaurant but it 's not worth the hassle. We own a lake property in Sulphur and visit usually every weekend. Since it 's a small town there 's only few selections to have dinner so we had hoped after a few chances we would enjoy eating here but at this point we would rather go to McDonalds. Our last visit that finally did it for us was due to multiple issues and poor ownership. Our appetizer and one entrée were forgotten, waters were not refilled and charged extra for salads. On the dinner menu for some entrées it states 1 side and a salad but once we received the check, they charged us for the salads..... we asked why since we haven 't been charged previously and the waitress said because that 's what we started doing (not told this when ordering). The big issue would be that one entrée was forgotten and they offer to bring out the side while it cooked but by the time it was done all others had finished their meals. The waitress did not offer to compensate any charges for it being so late and inconvenient. Once we argued with her, she asked the owner and they would only do half off the entrée and acted like they were so put out...... (at least McDonalds would comp our food and give us dessert). Then once we finally get ready to leave the waitress offers to fill our waters!!!!!!! Generally, we try out best to be lenient and understanding but after each visit it was harder to come back and give them another try. The owner seems more greedy than about customer service."

"We went in to eat and all the tables and floor as well was really dirty. We was the only customers in there and one at the drive through. We waited for about 20 to 25 minutes for our food. It turned out to be some of the worst food we've had in a long time. Chicken was dry and tough, the macaroni and cheese didn't even taste like macaroni and cheese, and the rolls weren't even done. But the okra was good, as for the rest of it, HORRIBLE. Food: 1"

"Eating was great, but we did not have the actual food that is asked to order from here that was a great order of queso. That wasn't very nice, honest. we were offered that we could pick up the next day, but we couldn't do that and honestly, it wouldn't have helped. ?"

"Quaint place. Very relaxing and great service by the staff. I enjoyed the massage, facial, and dinner. The bed was super comfortable. The owners were really nice and accommodating. They were nice enough to have a couple of drinks with us."
