"We visited on Friday afternoon 24/7 after viewing a property we hopefully want to buy in the village. What a delightful addition to the beautiful village. I think we arrived quite close to closing time but we were made to feel so welcome regardless. Our French language is limited at the moment as was the hosts English, but not a problem we all managed just fine with plenty of smiles and laughs all round. The food was plentiful, all home cooked and delicious. We had salad with cured meats to start and duck for the main all served with baskets of fresh bread, we were so full we didn’t have room for a dessert or coffee!! just what we needed before our journey back to the uk. The location is simply gorgeous, so glad we stopped and look forward to seeing you again soon, hopefully next time we will be walking from our new home so will be able to enjoy more of the lovely wine next time!!"

"Franchement ce restaurant se laisse un peu aller depuis notre dernière visite...Nous y avons déjeuné ce midi et nous regrettons de ne pas avoir poursuivi jusqu'en Espagne.- Le service y est peu aimable et à ma demande : "Je prendrai une côte de veau aux girolles (pourtant indiqué sur la carte)". J'ai reçu la réponse suivante : "Y en a pas!"Je me suis donc rabattu sur le menu à 16,50 euros dit "Menu commingeois" en accompagnement de ce début de service "commingeois" lui-aussi.- assiette montagnarde (assiette de charcuteries diverses totalement insipides),- confit de canard avec garniture (le confit était bien trop sec, la chair ne se détachant pas de l'os...), bref pas bon du tout à côté de beaucoup de confits proposés dans d'autres restaurant des Pyrénées pour le même prix.Donc nous ne sommes pas enchantés c'est le moins que l'on puisse dire.Quant à l'amabilité du personnel... Au moment de payer au comptoir, à notre "au revoir" de politesse adressé à la dirigeante : aucune réponse. Elle était bien trop occupée à encaisser la note d'un autre client.Donc cet établissement selon moi est à éviter."

"Just incredible. Seriously. The view, the woman, the vibe. Feels very authentically French, very fresh, and very homemade. Don't come if you're pish-posh...just let this place stay simple and sincere like it is. Three courses with wine & coffee for 13 euros! And seriously--THE VIEW! Open most weekdays for lunch and weeknights by reservation for groups. Find it. And be cool....this meal will take a bit of time."

"De passage pendant nos vacances d'août 2016, nous avons trouvé ce restaurant par l'application TripAdvisor. Les avis favorables nous ont incité à réserver une table pour le déjeuner. Le personnel y est très accueillant et très souriant. Je confirme les avis précédents.Il y a du choix et c'est également très copieux. On sent tout de suite que c'est un endroit où l'on aime cuisiner.J'ai ajouté quelques photos pour illustrer mes propos ... Les pizzas sont excellentes ! Je recommande pour tout type de clientèle solo, famille, affaires ... Si nous nous retrouvons de passage à Cierp Gaud nous nous y arrêterons à nouveau.N'hésitez plus !"
