"I visited this restaurant for dinner with a friend. It is located on the main street in Pompadour, close to both the chateau and the racecourse. It is run by an English family but is frequented mainly by French people so that tells you how good the food is! We were warmly welcomed by the owner who ensured we had everything we wanted. The menu is varied, but not exotic (at least, not in a bad way! There is something here for most tastes. Prices are very reasonable. All in all, a very pleasant place to eat. And the owner even walked us back to our car, holding an umbrella over us during a heavy downpour!"

I will always think of Pompadour fondly because of the warm welcome and our lovely meal at No. 7 and know that we will return (if only to sample the fish, duck or the beef or the poulet) ...
