"No and no! 3 attempts and disappointment every time. The workflows are completely blurred and confused. In the end, no good product can come out. Döner is prepared before the pide begins. Bread not heated. Meat cut 10 minutes before documents.... not kept warm. Fully cold filled and on the grill with to go bag for 10 minutes until the pasture finish. Ordering with 10 minutes waiting time is simply underground. Wait for 30 minutes? The quality is taken from the previous owner."

"It is a pastry shop in the middle of the city square.The location is excellent to sit outside but the seats are so few that one has to be lucky to find a spot. The interior is very dark and some lights might be useful to align with the cheerful exterior. They have a lot of variety of cakes which are on display in the shop. One has to order at the cake counter and then the food is brought to the table. I ordered Sachertorte and tea. The Assam tea that I ordered was good quality. When I went to order my cake, there was some kind of bumblebees or bees perhaps roaming inside the cake shelves. I pointed out to the lady there but she did not seem much bothered about it."
When the weather conditions is pleasant you can also eat and drink outside.

"We hiked up into the hills from Bernkastel and were aiming for the waterfall...but decided to keep going to the burg, not knowing it was the same castle ruins that loom beautifully over the city. It was a pleasant surprise. Even better was that you could enter the ruins for free (you can climb up the tower for 1 Euro and sit in the courtyard and enjoy some local wine and food. It was a bit breezy when we went, but the experience was worthwhile : We enjoyed 4 different kinds of wine and a Rösti (potato pancake with mozzarella and tomatoes. Amazing views out over the Mosel and over Bernkastel-Kues."

"Fantastic Indian Food in the old center of Bernkastel. We went for lunch on Saturday, no reservations, we were a group of 4 and able to enjoy a great meal. The staff are all friendly, the service was great. You get papadam, sauces, rice and naan with your meal. The prices are very fair. Highly recommend! Parking is across the road in the big lot."
