"As I always do, I went in and first asked if the burgers were nice, to whom they spoke "natural", like any other place, but at least those guys were not lying! <br>

We had the classic burger meal and the cheeseburger meal with eggs, which were added both burgers, which were both righteous and well cooked. The pies in both burgers were wet with a little crisp and their fries were perfect; crispy, golden and fresh; And the eggs, the eggs were cooked to perfection. "After reading the reviews of this place I was excited about going there and as mentioned the actual restaurant was a bit hard to find, it was tucked away up the back of a grubby old food hall/arcade. First appearance when we arrived was of a grubby looking café which was really rough around the edges.The menu however was very exciting, many different things that you don't find on the usual yum cha menu. Tried the prawn, asparagus and scallop dumplings and the coriander and prawn dumpling, both were ok but really lacked any flavour, salt and pepper squid just passable, beef dumplings ok, the prawn ball with baby corn was good and best by far was the quail egg dim sim. Did want to try the rabbit dumplings but they were only available on the weekends. Very cheap for what we had with a couple of passes but most dishes failed with lack of flavour, despite the cheap pricing I don't think I would return, the overall ambience was not good, the floors were dirty and the glass windows had hand marks smeared all over them. You could see into the kitchen on the way to the toilet and was at least happy that the kitchen looked very clean ."

My plate was the highlight. My plate came with X2 shrimp meat on sugar ears cut in half and spread on the plate. It also came with Mermicelli with boiled shallots and something that tasted like fried fat pieces and pickled carrots tasted. There was a basket of iceberg lettuce, cucumbers and 3 varieties of Asian herbs (I do not like raw bean sprouts, so I did not decide to have it). There was also a plate of rice paper sheets, a dive sauce and a bowl of hot water to easily soak RICE paper sheets. There was also a wet cloth to wipe her hands after her meal. (There is a large bottle of aquim hand sanitizer on each table, which is a great idea, but no other restaurant in Cabramatta I have near). <br>

The shrimp meat was soft, not tough and delicious. It was sweet and salty and was next yum yum, as a small package was wrapped with the fresh herbs, vermicelli, cucumbers, carrots and salad and dipped in the sauce. It tasted fresh, crispy and the combination of aromas was good. If you are not used to eat asian herbs, just go on it as it can be a bit strong in the taste. The diving sauce was nice with the chili, but I found it too salty. I like how to create your wrap, but you suit your taste buds. Be careful not to soak the rice paper sheets as it becomes soft and slightly tear apart. All you do is dive into the hot water for a second as you rotate the sheet, make sure it is completely covered, it will easily feel firmly, but when you enclose your package, it's soft enough to eat it while he chewed his shape texture. <br>

"We have been coming here for 18 years and it is our family's favourite Hu Tieu in Sydney! We have tried a few Hu Tieu places around Cabramatta and Bankstown, but we always come back to Viet Trung as they are definitely the best!! My favorites are Clear Noodle Combination Hu Tieu, which contains combinations of proteins including offals. I like both Soup and Dry version. Please note though when ordering Dry, it usually comes with crushed nuts (but I've opted no nuts on mine as per photo). If you do not eat offal, the Seafood Hu Tieu is nice too! Hope you enjoy this place as much as we do! Their other foods (according from other family members) are nice too. Please note though that they are cash only."
