"Gem I frequent definitely worth a try for anyone that likes authentic Asian fare. Had a nice conversation with the proprietor, who is from Myanmar (south east Asia) by way of NYC, and learned that the place used to be a standard Chinese buffet. There is an impressive Fiddle-Leaf Fig growing in the front window that is 30 years old! And the new fare is a huge upgrade! Taste of Asia is new the only Ramen place in the area, but the quality of the Tonkatsu (my favorite soup of all time) rivals that of places in Baltimore DC. Pork bone broth is done right--48 hours per batch. Pork cutlets come from Costco rather than restaurant supply resulting in excellent quality. Noodles egg are also superb. I generally find a place either does the broth or the noodles right, but this place has them both on point. I've had Tonkatsu Ramen in Tokyo, and while the ambiance isn't that of that tiny place in Akiyabara, the fare is right there with it. My girlfriend ordered shrimp fried rice. I can honestly say that was the best fried rice I have ever tasted! The curry also smells amazing!"

"From Delaware. Moving to the area and we stopped by for food before heading back. Ordered their vegetarian mock duck curry with medium heat and got their taro smoothie boba. Both were good. Loved the latter. Boba was good texture and taro was amazing. Fragrant but not powdery. Best I've had yet in Delaware or Philly. "Had red snapper!!!! omg it is to die for it is definitiw for more than one person, but my table has just managed it well. portions are plentiful, eating is delish and the tapioca pudding is yummers!!! it is a must to visit it is the best thai in the opposite that they do not regret it!"
