"One of the few places we found with vegan food in this small town of Shibu-Onsen. The staff were super helpful, just ask them about their vegan menu and they'll give you a list of vegan options! It was great when it was ridiculously cold and snowing outside and we didn't want to go far to eat. Decent portions/price and the food was good, but it is more western style food."

"The best place in Nagano for Tonkotsu Shoyu noodles pork born soup with soy source. Salty, fatty and thick soup with noodles are great. Two kind of grilled pork are available: pork libs or hams, both are lobely tastes anyway. Ticket vending machine is available, no English menu, no parking lot, counter only. No credit card payment is acceptable, but PayPay is okay."

Up to 5 stars! Original review: A fun place to take a drink or coffee right at the foot of the gondola. The hot chocolate I had was exactly what I wanted after skiing all day. When we left, it was very crowded, which it was rather clogged, so that ventilation could be improved. But all in all the drinks were good and the staff was very nice and spoke English."

"It’s a little bit on the pricey side but the serving portion is rather generous (especially if you are a small eater; it was like 2-3 meals for me). Food was also good. I tried the venison set. Maybe not the greatest choice because it seems that venison is best cooked as a steak, but I wanted to try other ways of cooking this meat, so I got what I wanted."
