"I can’t believe after more than 7 years in the area that we haven’t even step foot in this wonderful diner. It’s easy to overlook with the surrounding area, but I tell you that the food that we ordered on a Friday morning for breakfast was out of this world. My southern hubby raved about their biscuits and gravy and I had a perfectly cooked steak with a beautiful charred. Coffee was great, smooth and no after taste. Our Waitress were awesome. We will be a regular!"

"I brought my son to eat lunch. although I feel that it was a bit smart at the higher end price, quickly found out that it was good. the portion size was extremely large and all ingredients were very fresh. my son liked that he was able to eat his meal with exactly what he wanted and let me know happy that he would eat and enjoy everything he had."

"Started out with alligator bites, which had a great coating and dipping sauce, a cup of gumbo which was excellent, then for dinner blackened catfish and the short rib special. Both were very tasty, though a little pricey. Dessert included an excellent key lime pie and pecan pie. Overall a really nice dinner."

"Everything was excellent from service waitress Gabriel) to hot delicious fresh rolls with butter pats that are somewhat warmed by the bread, to appetizer crab Louie great flavor) to a fresh wedge salad and outstanding crab cakes and stuffed salmon. It could not have been a better meal especially not knowing what to expect as first time diners. And there was no rush as customarily we Americans love to rush through dinner. The whole experience took over 90 minutes. I will be coming back monthly for sure. Thank you Backfin Blues and Gabriel for making this first experience a great one."

"I re-visited The Olive Tree today (2022-01-06). The entree was huge. Thee meal came with an excellent salad and bread sticks. I ordered the Blackened Chicken Fettuccine. The chicken was excellent BUT I was disappointed that Fettuccine sauce was bland (minus one star). The menu also said the fettuccine was home made , but my server could not confirm the claim. Overall, a solid place for a meal in Aberdeen."

"Sign posted that kids can 't be in the store front after 5PM. Show up at 4:30 with my 2 kids. Place is almost completely empty. They turn me away saying there is no where for me to sit even though all the tables are empty. Could have had plenty of time for a glass of wine and charcuterie. This is the second time they have turned me away like this. I got frustrated and made a comment to the staff that it 's not a great business model and left. A man from the business follows me down the road shouting It is a great business model if you don 't want to be around kids in front of my kids. Can honestly say I am never going back and never recommending this place. I am a huge wine enthusiast, a business owner myself with 2 kids. Very disappointing"
