Although this location is smaller than the Southern Pines location, my wife and I both feel the food is just a touch better. Not to mention we love the staff.
It's the best pizza I have ate that is close to home (New Jersey)

"Seated promptly upon arrival. Table was in the middle of the room and that accounted for some of the surrounding noise. Food was excellent. Flavors were well developed and temperature of the food was good. All members of the party enjoyed the food. The salmon was superb as always. I had the squid ink pasta and found it to be very good. The beet salad is recommended as well."

"We ate at Double Eagle this weekend after much anticipation! We heard and read SO many amazing things about this place....only to be wildly disappointed; mostly by the service. But that was enough. I only gave 3 stars because our burgers were really fantastic. Our waitress and wait was AWFUL. We didn 't ask for anything special, people came in after us and left WAY before us and our waitress didn 't even come to check on us. By the hour mark, the meal was ruined because we were so hungry and the waitress had zero customer service. She was slow and acted like we were a huge inconvenience. Once our food was delivered we didn 't see her again until she dropped off our check....which was disappointing in itself, only because we were dying to have dessert. We weren 't even offered! I suppose it was a good thing because it took over an hour and a half just to get 2 burgers when the joint was less than half full. We so badly wanted this was sour next 'go-to '..,especially with all of the military memorabilia and knowing its veteran owned. But I can 't take another experience like that..."

"Hostess was incredibly rude and hostile. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I tried to assume good will, maybe she was having an off night, maybe the wait staff was over burdened and under staffed, but her attitude was completely inexcusable. I wish I could speak to the food and cocktails, however had to leave before being served due to how uncomfortable she made myself and the rest of my party feel. Management should be aware of this massive short coming and make efforts to remove this individual from the front of this establishment."

"By far best italian in nc! as a veterinarian who has traveled the world, I can honestly say the best in the world (that I have!) the service is what they would expect from a fine restaurant. the food is worth the price, they are worth the trip out of the triangle and even out of the condition!"

"Our 1st time there for an anniversary dinner. We sat outside, by choice, as it has a very city like , cute, fresh garden patio feel. Our waitress was wonderful. Food was delicious. Would recommend for special occasions unless you have the means to splurge more often."
