"This gem of a restaurant was recommended by our B&B hosts at the lovely Ptarmigan House in Blair Atholl, Scotland; on the A9 northwest of Edinburgh. The Loft was pleasantly arranged. The food was excellent. I had the trout with a wonderful mash and mix of veggies. My husband had a delicious rib eye. The sauces and seasonings were spot on. All the dishes that came out of the kitchen looked beautiful. Kudos to that chef."

"The restaurant staff are very friendly and will always try to give you a window seat overlooking the River Tummel spectacular when in spate! Their Fish and Chips are always excellent. If you have time a walk around Pitlochry is always worthwhile."
