Pipos has been around since 1948, started by a local and is managed today by his children. There are waiters at Pipos that have worked there for 50 years. The food there is very good and so far through the years, we know if we visit Pipos we will be served high quality seafood and the service will always be good. So if you visit Acapulco, don´t miss out on the traditional Pipos. View all feedback.

No-one knows why this restaurant once was considered one of the best fish-restaurants in Acapulco. The food is average: there are many places with a better CEVICHE ACAPULQEÑO and the taste of the famous FILETE ALMENDRADA AL ESTILO DE LA ABUELA is not bad, but like so often with similar dishes the creamtopping is far bigger than the fish underneath. My favorite restaurant in all Acapulco! The best in the world! I love everything! The waiters work here forever and are super nice! It is family property and they are proud of their traditions. This is one of the most authentic family restaurants. Look at it and you won't be disappointed!
Mariscos Pipo is a Mexican restaurant on Costera, Acapulco beach street, in La Diana district. The restaurant serves a variety of Mexican dishes, but we had two pizzas from the pizza menu. My wife is vegetarian to find vegetarian food...in Mexico can be tricky, so vegetarian pizza for her and a Mexican pizza for me went very well. The service was good and very friendly. The restaurant has no English menu or the staff speaks English and our Spanish is bad, but with the help of google translate everything was good.

After a week of having great food from several places even the beach- I landed my terrible experience. I guess we all have to have one from the 10 great ones. Had octopus coctail which was nasty tasting due to the ketchup they were drenched...in. Then had a fish dish, and the tuna was rough. Friend had to give back her steak cause couldn't even cut through. This morning my stomach is a mess! The only thing good was the service-very quick.
