"Ended up eating here three times during the last trip. Roberto was working the grill out front and doing a bang-up job of it. The owner is very hospitable. Has a nice set out outdoor seating in the front. I am embarrassed to say that...each time I had the same thing the arepas arrachera. After the first time, I was hooked. Very simple steak arepas with lettuce and a creamy chimichurri sauce. Simple but delcious. I also tried the chistorra sausage as an appetizer, and it too was really good. For a casual night out, I would recommend!"

"There were no recommended restaurants directly on the beach in puerto marquez. to the happiness as they go along the road, they can see directly in most kitchens for the 50 restaurants on the beach. the prices seemed more or less equal, and so I was looking for the cleanest kitchen. el sol was the victor, and the brise from the sea, the cold beer, sitting in the shadow that looked beyond the water, was perfect. the restaurant claims specialties of: cellular, ceviche, option, kameron, alma, filet a la veracruzana, charola de moriscos, langosta al ajo and cameron’s en adobo. I never eat the skin on the fish I grill to fish for me. but the huachinango a la talla was the top meat dish on my list to try a speciality of the guerre coastal regions, and the skin is where much of the taste lies. not fishy at all, the zitrus and other chili/tomat seasoned on the skin, before grilling make the skin a wonderful tasting crust that does not overwhelm the fish. a beer, a bottled water and a whole fish 250 peso $16 usd)"

"Fuimos a pasar un rato agradable un grupo de amigos y la verdad ibamos con otra idea del lugar ya que nos lo habian recomendado, llegamos y nos recibieron bien, el problema fue que toda la noche toco un dj puras canciones que solo a el le gustaban, pedimos cambiar la musica y solo nos dieron la escusa de que el martes era de dj invitado y no podian hacer nada. Osea le estabamos consumiendo mas de 3 mil pesos y no quisieron complacernos en eso ademas los otros comensales estaban igual de aburridos. Para colmo asi como la cenicienta a las 12 pm nos corrieron literal que ya tenian que cerrar y empezaron a retirarnos el servicio y a recoger las sillas y mesas. No vuelvo a ir."
