Vegan cakes, pasties and sweets that are uniquely characterized and delicious!
Set in a fairly bog standard suburban block of shops with a post office, a hairdresser, a Foodland and so on this place doesn't look like much - a couple of display counters and a drinks fridge with a couple of tables on the footpath outside. It's slightly down at heel with none of the hipster credibility of a Red Door at Croydon, the high end flash of a Pat-a-Cake on Duthy Street or the family comfort of a Becks at Noarlunga or the country charm of Clarendon or Meadows. It just is what it is. But they keep winning awards. A swag of medals at this years Baking Association awards, Best in Class at the Royal Adelaide Show (1st Prize for Lamingtons!!).... this is a seriously good bakery. Looking at the "nearby restaurants" bar on this website and if you're down south and looking for lunch there really isn't much to choose from. But this place should have you covered if you want something hot, tasty or sweet. Highly recommended.
