What User likes about The Franklin Hotel:
I stayed at the Franklin for one night, and we were upgraded to a suite. The room was really lovely and very comfortable. We also had a lovely meal in the pub downstairs. The only problem was that the light from the bus depot across the road made it difficult to sleep; it was so bright that it was like having a torch in our faces all night. Pretty good, all in all. Good service (well, this time... I'll forgive the last time), good food and a good atmosphere - but with no carpet or furniture to absorb the screeching of a hen's night, it's probably best avoided if you see one coming.
