Thrift Shop Bar - Adelaide

Unfortunately one of my go to pub lunch spots has gone downhill. The balcony dining room isn't open every day and if you go on a day that it's closed you need to eat in the Marble Bar which is a small bar at the back of the hotel with a limited menu. The food was really average - the burger was overpriced for what arrived, as was the garfish. The $10 lunch special was also pretty uninspiring.

The main emphasis of this bar is Australian spirits and boy do they deliver, both in knowledge and variety So if you're interested in tasting the latest and greatest South Australian spirits, and in particular gin, then this is place to head to. Chilled, great decor and friendly staff make this an underground hit.
