We hope to return to Cap-d'Agde this year mainly to revisit this restaurant! We found the staff great last year and still rave about the platter for €26, served on a boat of ice, oh and the St Chinain St Laurent wine wasn't bad either! View all feedback.
Fantastic seafood! friendly staff! really nothing to complain, but when we just returned from Spain, they have to adapt to the French prices. I mean, in Spain we never have a bill for 80 euro for a three-course dinner for. two, including a bottle of wine.
This place has certainly restored our believe in cap d’agde seafood restaurants according to our bad experience in les halles. we have eaten twice this week and have eaten the most beautiful seafood and fish. the gambs were huge and fleshy, which were cooked. to perfection . the fresh of fish and seafood is easy to see from their display cabinet. for quality and price le grand bleu from the rest.
Ok, the place looks like a tourist trap, but it is not! eat twice in a week and was not disappointed. fresh products, acceptable waiting time, even got smiles from the waitress.
For an Italian to eat a plate of crudité (18 huîtres, 18 moules plus other 30-40 pcs) and pay less than 40 euro is really a nice surprise. Fish and shelves are fresh, huîtres and shrimps are fresh and good but not overstanding. They are nice and welcoming. Also outside tables are available
We spent most of the time in the local marina nearby and none of the restaurants there can stand up to the quality and price of this place! We were recommended this place by boaters who moored opposite us after overhearing us complaining about having several rather bad meals in the area where our boat was located. We never regret the walk to the Place du Mole where this place is located. A little bit set back from the beach with not exactly a sea view but still steps from the send ;) The freshest shell sea food .. oysters, all type of mussels, prawns, sea snails ... all absolutely lovely. There was 5 of us and we ordered one of the bigger set platters from the menu and could not finish it! We had some starters - soup, octopus and bread to share too. We had local - Languadoc white wine to accompany the food greatly. The waitress was so helpful and spoke great English too. The restaurant was full of locals which for us is another sign of the good quality food in here!
