"Food and coffee were good and the cafe surrounds were very nice. Would have given this venue 4 stars except for the absolute lack of regard for any COVID safety measures. Not a mask to be seen either on staff or patrons and limited to...nil social distancing. This was at the peak of the omicron outbreak of which wide bay and central Qld were included in all mandates and had active cases."

"You must check this place out very flavorful and delicious food. We loved the small plates and tried a variety and every dish was wonderful. The calamari was especially tasty. We had cocktails that were lovely, not too sweet. Our server was also the cook, host and bartender and he handled the chaos smoothly and was better service from one person than I have received from an entire team. Don't miss out on this place! "Today we visited the Cafe Discovery for mum's birthday. The food, atmosphere and staff were all amazing. Such fantastic service, generous portion sizes, and the complimentary birthday cake was delicious. Thanks to all the staff for the opportunity to share an amazing birthday celebration. Even our hardest critic (my youngest niece) ate all of her chicken schnitzel and her hot chocolate. We all know that is 20/20 as getting her to eat is generally such a stressful event. Thanks so much to the team for a perfect day out."
