"Food and coffee were good and the cafe surrounds were very nice. Would have given this venue 4 stars except for the absolute lack of regard for any COVID safety measures. Not a mask to be seen either on staff or patrons and limited to...nil social distancing. This was at the peak of the omicron outbreak of which wide bay and central Qld were included in all mandates and had active cases."

"You must check this place out very flavorful and delicious food. We loved the small plates and tried a variety and every dish was wonderful. The calamari was especially tasty. We had cocktails that were lovely, not too sweet. Our server was also the cook, host and bartender and he handled the chaos smoothly and was better service from one person than I have received from an entire team. Don't miss out on this place! "The second time here, actually drove all the way out in 1770, because our memory of how good the fish and chips were. You know, if you do, it often ends in disappointment. it wasn't! amazingly broken fish. great hope. the whole party was impressed."

"After being turned away from the local tavern we came across Madonna's cafe. With hungry kids in tow we decided to pull in and give it a go. We weren't let down. The menu is extensive, something for everyone. The staff were amazingly friendly and the food was delicious. We plan on coming back to holiday in this region and we will definitely be back to eat here again."
