"Excellent restaurant. The tapas are not frozen mouths like you find everywhere. Cocktails are good. And the burger, a delight, special mention for homemade fries, they are very good! Finally a restaurant with real cuisine. We arrived at 7:15 pm to enjoy a drink in happy hour but the young waiter came to take the order only at 7:30 pm, at the end of the happy hour and denied us the discounts. Fortunately, after reflecting on a waitress who seemed older, the happy hour was well applied. Despite this little remark at the beginning of service, the team remained super smiling and listening. I recommend this restaurant!"

"When the food was so good, you forget to take a picture of the main dish not only a great place to eat, but also to discover Peruvian history and culture (the restaurant serves as a museum as well). "My wife, who knows Paris rather well for having spent a great deal of time over the years in the city, cautioned me that she had found no fabulous sushi restaurants there (excluding the recent addition of Matsuhisa . She is a deeply committed sushi lover from long LA and US west coast experience, whereas I'm quite familiar with the cuisine as well and have travelled in Japan. Given that, she was very hesitant to believe we could find good sushi in Aix, despite there being an abundance of Japanese restaurants in the city. However, when we went to the open air market on Place Richelme this Saturday morning and saw all the amazing fish on display, we thought surely that would translate into good sushi. So she researched reviews on line, found so many good ones for Sushi Couronne, and decided that would break the mold. It proved to be one of the worst sushi meals either of us have ever experienced. Please, reader, if you love sushi and know it well and are used to high standards, this place is not for you. For one thing, the restaurant has 4 types of seafood salmon, tuna, shrimp, and squid (and the squid barely register on the menu and that's it!! I've never seen a sushi restaurant with such limitations, but even that would be OK were the fare fresh. Oh, yes, there are chicken, beef, and cheese (cheese? in the offerings. I confess the miso soup is good, and so is a salad made of vinegar cabbage (but you have to ask for that it's not on the menu . The menu seems extensive, but it's one rehash of another over and over. We ordered two of the best looking dragon rolls and a dozen of the little sushi bites and were so uninspired by the virtually tasteless food that we left a number of pieces on the plate something that simply never, ever happens to us in a sushi restaurant. If you nevertheless decide to come to this restaurant despite this review, take a look at the wasabi/ginger plate when it arrives you can often judge a sushi restaurant by the quality of what's on that plate and you'll understand what you're in for."
