What Matthieu Masson doesn't like about U Campanile:
Chex Pascale is a lovely restaurant with good food and nice service. It's reasonably priced, too. I had the entrecote and chips which were decent. The chips were homemade and the steak was cooked well. The bread brought around alongside dinner was OK. Overall,...slightly pricey for what is it, but a decent restaurant nonetheless. We were advised by the manager of a bar and we were not disappointed! The kitchen is simple and of quality! servers are very pleasant, smiling, and helpful! (also honest when desserts are not home, only one in the 6 offered)Super address!
Very friendly servers and fast service. We had the impression of eating at my great Italian mother (lasagnes and Parmigiana revisited with Corsican cheese.) the products are fresh and of qualities! We highly recommend it.

We have dinner on a Friday night on a terrace in a tiny alley and have had a great time. Corsican cheese pasta is really good (12€), spaghetti meatballs and carbonara pasta as well. We tasted the desserts for 6 or 7€: apple crumble, châtaigne tiramisu, meringue lemon pie and cheese plate, it was excellent. the two young servers who took care of us were very smiling, welcoming, attentive and friendly. Only flat, service a little fast but we understand because we have to leave room for reservations after us. A good address!
