I love this place. My favorite on Alameda's east end, competing with at least 4 other purveyors of Mexican food.At least one of the cooks has been there for 20 years. They know their stuff.I'm watching my weight, and the portions are generally too big for a sane person to finish (this is standard in California taquerias). the staff was rude. they asked them how they did, thanked them for eating, not a single recognition. steak burrito was okay. enchiladas and hardshell tacos were not so good at all. Not recommended if they want authentic Mexican food. View all feedback.
I love eating this place! very tasty! never disappointed. they are fast and my commands are always correct. street parking can sometimes be difficult.
Food was excellent! The service was fast and friendly! We will be back!

Great eating and relaxing atmosphere. the taco salad and combi plates are the best. huge portions.
Eating is really good, but prices have risen to inappropriate levels. I don't pay $18 for a super-burrito. I tried to hang with them, but when they went from $16 to $18, I had to move on. there are only too many alternatives.
