Top Up Tea is a fantastic bubble tea shop that I recommend to anyone in the Oakland/Alameda area. I tried their Choco Taro Smoothie and it was absolutely amazing!!! The combination of chocolate and taro flavors was perfect, creating a sweet and creamy drink that was so satisfying. What Show doesn't like about Top Up:
I ordered my drink online. Simple honeydew milk tea with oat milk and honey boba. I picked up my drink, and overheard the staff complaining about how badly they want to go home. Shortly after I grabbed my drink and drove off I realize they there are unwanted matcha agar boba added as ingredients to my drink which was disappointing. I get it, no one wants to work all day, but you should at least do your job right read more.
