"Food, ambiance and service was beyond amazing our first visit. We were so excited to have found our spot . Upon returning that was not the case. The service was awful and the food was subpar. The pasta was not the same as it was and told no longer available? When mentioning this to the Chef/Owner he spoke to us like a pompous ass. Like we were idiots for even noticing. We would have made plans to return BUT our interaction with said Mr Pompous....no thank you. There are PLENTY of other restaurants that I 'd rather spend my time and money."

"The place doesn't look like much, but the food is amazing. The crab cakes and sweet potato fries I ordered were among the best I ever had. Service was great, got us in and out in time for our train."

"We had an amazing dinner New Year’s Eve at Lanie’s Cafe last night with good friends....Food and service was exceptional and the Christmas decorations were spectacular. Veal Sorrentino, Marsala and Piccata so tender and a seafood medley over pasta delectable...large portions with leftovers for another dinner...also a great salad bar....great value for your money.....will definitely enjoy again....thank you Lanie’s"

"I was visiting Albany on business from Westchester County which is over 2.5 hours away. While shopping at the Mall I was craving for a good Burger. The family was also. I googled a search and my daughter suggested Build a Burger Pub. I Love mom and Pop type of eateries. I had the BEST bacon cheeseburger with seasoned crispy fries. The owner and staff were the most friendliest people you’d ever want to meet. Needless to say I saved this location on my GPS. I do frequent Albany and I definitely will not be in this area without stopping at Build a Burger Pub."
