"A beautiful and authentic Italian restaurant. Service was excellent and attentive. A nice selection of inspired Italian cuisine and pizza. Had the burrata and prosciutto as an appetizer and a shrimp and pasta dish (forgot the name) that was out of this world delicious. My wife had a vodka sauce pasta which she said was also fantastic. Cannoli for dessert we will definitely be back."

"We had an amazing dinner New Year’s Eve at Lanie’s Cafe last night with good friends....Food and service was exceptional and the Christmas decorations were spectacular. Veal Sorrentino, Marsala and Piccata so tender and a seafood medley over pasta delectable...large portions with leftovers for another dinner...also a great salad bar....great value for your money.....will definitely enjoy again....thank you Lanie’s"

"I never had Lazeez until today and it was the best Indian food I ever had. I went with a takeout and everything was still hot and fresh when I picked it up. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Makhani, Vegetable Samosa and Garlic Naan. I highly recommend them. Iwill definitely get food from them again."

"What a heavenly dinner we had, absolutely the BEST Mediterranean Afghan food we have ever eaten! We had the veggie sampler platter and the beef koftas and chicken kabob combo. Everything was outstanding and then we had the beef Lotta and chicken kabob combo. Everything was outstanding and then we had the Afghan Delight ice cream which was delicious! The owner, Mahmood, was so gracious and the service excellent! We Will Definitely Return!"

"I knew this place wasn't gonna last after the new owner bought or whatever. Every time I went in there, and I also this heard from other people, that the place smelled like patchouli oil And the people working there had no teeth, blasting rap music. Place smelled like weed galore! The place was disgusting, the bread was completely different, and they did not give you as much meat as the owner for 35 years would have. The place was disgusting, junk cars out into the parking lot, garbage everywhere, I could go on and on and so can everybody else! You all know what I'm talking about but everyone else is afraid to say it!"

"I won’t lie… I was a little worried when we showed up but my were my expectations exceeded. This is the true definition of ‘Dive Bar’ and one that really stands out to me. The waitress was beyond kind and helpful, the food was fresh and tasty and the prices were just right. You can tell they still take pride in what they do, smelling the burgers being made while you wait and enjoy conversation with the locals. Go enjoy a burger, cold beer and a nice evening at this hidden gem outside of Albany. You won’t be disappointed."
