"I called ahead to try and just order to find out it must be over $100. It was our first time here and didn't know it was so small and had a walk on the street. It was really good BBQ. We did the Buckle Buster and shared it and it was enough for 2 people. The ribs were tender from the bone, they were from the sausage, so we still have a few ribs. I think the chicken and the shredded pig was just okay. That was better for me. The brisket was good, but it was better. The pages were only pages. Corn was Bland, potato salad was al dente and no spices. The Cole Slav and baked beans were run by the mill and nothing special. It was a good meal and would go back, but there was nothing spectacular for us. Customer service was great and very friendly."

"After enduring the pandemic, and more restaurant troubles, Novak 's has come back better than ever. Though they now only open Thursdays and Fridays for dinner, make a reservation (a must and travel back in time to old Hungary for a culinary adventure you will savor for months to come. Upon entering the small but charming dining room, you are immediately assaulted by aromas so delicious, you want to stop and just breathe it in. But, you have to get to your table so you can order! Ordering from the menu is an option, but the buffet is The Thing! My dining partner and I grabbed our salad plates first and chose between a fresh cucumber salad or a warm potato salad. Both delicious! Two or three entree choices next, cabbage rolls, sausages, with Hungarian mustard to die for, roast pork, 3-4 side dishes, (red cabbage, roasted potatoes, spatzel and gravy, you get the idea! A unique old world feast for the eyes, nose and palate set in a charming European feeling restaurant lines in used brick, various pictures and signs of old Eastern Europe. Oh, and you can select a wine, beer or any other beverage too, it 's included, along with delicious black bread, or white, and of course, dessert is included too. Always 3-4 to choose from, or sample them all! Beautiful tall cakes, rich pastries and puddings, and more. This is more than a meal , it 's an experience, olde Hungary at its finest. They also have cooking classes and c do catering too. GO! You won 't be sorry, and when you leave, fat and happy, you 'll be able to hear me say I told you so ! Enjoy!"
